A field visit showed that water has receded from several low-lying areas including Armypara, Bharakhali, Islampur, Memberpara, Catchingpara, Hafezghona, Balaghata and Kalaghata in the municipal area.
Cox’s Bazar: The body of Md. Ibrahim (18), who went missing after being swept away by a strong current while crossing a bamboo bridge in Kawarkhop Union of Ramur, Cox’s Bazar, was recovered yesterday afternoon after 24 hours. He is the son of Syed Hossain of Moishkum area of ​​Ward (No. 4) of Kawarkhop Union. Ibrahim was crossing a bamboo bridge in Moishkum area last Sunday. At that time, he slipped and fell into the river water. Due to the heavy rain and hilly terrain, Ibrahim was swept away by the strong current in the river in an instant and disappeared.
Feni: The water level of the Muhuri River is rising rapidly due to continuous rain and upstream inundation.
