Ten officers of the BCS (General Education) cadre have been transferred and posted to new jobs for the purpose of dynamism and administrative needs in the educational activities of government colleges.
This information was announced in two separate notifications from the Secondary and Higher Education Divisions of the Ministry of Education on Monday.
A notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Muhammad Helal Chowdhury under the President’s order
states that these officers will continue to serve in their transferred positions on their own pay and salary until further orders.
The notification further states that the said officers will be relieved from their current workplace by July 23. Otherwise, they will be deemed to be relieved immediately on the afternoon of the same date.
The officer will have to log in to his/her PDS and complete the release and joining process.
The notification states that this order will come into effect immediately.
Meanwhile, in a separate notification, two more officers of the BCS (General Education) cadre have been transferred and posted to new posts. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary A. Quddus on Monday under the order of the President.
The notification states that these two officers will serve in their transferred posts with their salaries and pay until further orders. They will have to be released from their current posts by July 23. Otherwise, they will be considered to have been released immediately on the same afternoon. The officers have been instructed to log in to their respective PDS accounts and complete the release and joining process.
The ministry said that these transfers and postings have been made on the basis of the officers’ own applications. Therefore, they will not be entitled to any kind of TA/DA (travel and daily allowance). This order, issued in the public interest, will come into effect immediately.
