Police from Chandraghona Police Station in Rajasthali Upazila have arrested two people with 101 liters of brewed liquor and a CNG during a raid.
Police arrested two people with liquor from the bridge on the south side of Bangalhalia Bazaar while smuggling around 8:30 pm on Tuesday. A CNG-powered autorickshaw used by them was seized at the time.
They are Md. Roni Hossain (22), son of Abdul Motaleb, a resident of Joynagar Para in Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong, and Jahed Hossain (20), son of Jahangir Alam.
Chandraghona Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) M Shaker Ahmed said that a police team conducted a raid and arrested them along with liquor. The process of taking legal action against them is underway.
