Stable oil market stable

Traders are assessing the potential impact of tough US sanctions on Iran, which have kept crude oil prices largely stable in international markets, after falling more than 2 percent in the previous trading day.

Market analysis showed that Brent crude futures fell 9 cents, or 1.01 percent, to $92.16 a barrel on Tuesday morning. However, the price of US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, which was unchanged at about the same time, rose 1 cent to $85.2 a barrel.

Earlier, there was a major fall in oil prices in the global market on Monday. After two consecutive weeks of upward movement in the oil market, US crude prices fell to their lowest level in a week as investors took profits. After that shock, the oil market is now somewhat stable.
