A reception was given to those who secured GPA-5 in the SSC examination at Palash Beam Laboratory School in Narsingdi. The school authorities organized the reception program at the Palash Upazila Parishad conference room on Monday morning.
Palash Upazila Executive Officer Ishtiaq Ahmed, who was present as the chief guest at the event, presented awards to the meritorious students.
The function was presided over by the school principal, Mostafa Kamal, and was also addressed by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rakin Mashrur Khan and guardian Aminul Islam, among other guests. This reception was organized in appreciation of the students who achieved 100% pass rate and GPA-5 from Palash Beam Laboratory School this year.
In his speech, the chief guest told the students that the coming days are the days of creating human resources, and for this there is no alternative to technology-based education. The world is now moving forward based on information technology. Those who can ensure the proper use of this technology will be able to make their future beautiful and give something good to the country.
He urged students to be more focused on their studies and to be involved in social welfare work and sports.
At the end of the discussion meeting, the students of this school who achieved 100% pass rate and had a GPA of 5 were presented with honorary crests.
