Osman Hadi’s sister demands disclosure of truth behind Mamata Banerjee’s statement

Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s sister Masuma Hadi has demanded that the government find out the truth behind the recent comments made by her referring to the killing of Inqilab Manch spokesperson Shaheed Sharif Osman Bin Hadi. She has called for international assistance in this regard if necessary.

Masuma Hadi made this call in a written statement at a press conference at the Nalchiti Press Club in Jhalakathi on Monday at 11 am. She said that it is the responsibility of the state to take the words of former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee seriously and diplomatically clarify who is involved in the murder of Osman Hadi.

Masuma Hadi said that she will not return home until the trial of Osman Hadi’s murder is over, and if the trial is delayed by finding loopholes in the law, the patriotic people will be brought to justice at any cost. Requesting the Prime Minister, she said, “Our family’s humble request is that you quickly ensure the trial of my brother Osman Hadi’s murder and set an example for future generations to become a symbol of justice, Osman Hadi.”

Masuma Hadi blamed the law enforcement agencies for the escape of the accused in the murder of Osman Hadi. She asked how the killers escaped to India after shooting Osman Hadi on December 12, 2025. Masuma Hadi also called for an investigation into whether any state forces or leaders and activists of any political party were involved in the incident.

Masuda Hadi also questioned the repeated changes made during the filing of the chargesheet in the Osman Hadi murder case. She called for the planer, the orderer, the financier of Osman Hadi’s murder, and all those involved in the murder to be included in the chargesheet and made public before the nation.

Osman Hadi’s brother-in-law Md. Amir Hossain and his relatives were present at the press conference.
