BNP’s 48th founding anniversary celebrated in Nabiganj

A procession and discussion meeting to mark the 48th founding anniversary of BNP was held in Nabiganj Upazila of Habiganj. The program was held on Wednesday afternoon. The discussion meeting, chaired by Upazila BNP President Syed Matiur Rahman Peyara, was attended by Habiganj-1 (Bahubal-Nabiganj) constituency MP Dr. Reza Kibria as the chief guest.

Simi Kibria, former Upazila Chairman Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Shefu, Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Boyet Ullah, Joint General Secretary Oliur Rahman Oli, Municipal BNP Senior Joint Conveners Abdul Alim Yasini and Touhidul Islam Chowdhury and Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Shahid Ahmed Talukder were special guests at the meeting, which was chaired by Upazila BNP General Secretary Majidur Rahman Majid.

In addition, Md. Nurul Amin, Aurobindo Roy, Swad Ahmed Jewel, Mohibur Rahman and other leaders from various unions and wards of Nabiganj, including BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations, spoke at the discussion meeting.

The speakers at the meeting highlighted the historical context of BNP’s 48th founding anniversary and said that BNP has always been on the streets to achieve the democratic rights of the country and the people and will continue to be in the future.

In his speech as the chief guest, Dr. Reza Kibria called on the leaders and activists to work unitedly on the streets while ensuring the development of the area and maintaining party discipline.
