The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thundershowers in various parts of the country. Rain is likely to occur in many areas of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Wednesday (August 12).
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions. At the same time, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain at some places in the country and heavy rain with thundershowers at some areas.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged.
