US Congresswoman Yasmin Ansari has strongly criticized the military operation in Iran and has called for the impeachment of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
In a post on social media, Yasmine said that 120 children were killed in a US military attack on a school after Donald Trump launched an “illegal war” against Iran. In addition, 18 US service members were killed and the country’s people are bearing the burden of record high fuel prices.
Ansari alleged that, in addition to this, American citizens are enduring record high gas prices, while Trump and his sons have benefited from investments in defense technology companies.
He added, “Neither President Donald Trump nor Pete Hegseth has achieved any goals in this war. Soldiers, children, and innocent civilians have lost their lives for no reason.”
“This war must stop and Pete Hegseth must be impeached,” Ansari said.
